5 Things Real Estate Agents Are Doing That Their Clients Love

Today’s real estate clients are tougher to impress than ever before.5-Things-Real-Estate-Agents-Are-Doing-That-Their-Clients-Love

In order to make a great impression you have to be able to deliver on a number of different levels. However, despite all of the competition out there today, some agents are growing their client bases faster than ever.

What are these super agents doing that their clients absolutely love? What is the secret that makes their existing clients recommend them to so many more new clients? How are they creating loyalty with clients in a world where it doesn’t seem to exist?

You’ll be surprised, because the answers to those questions are a whole lot simpler than you might think! Here are five simple tactics that today’s rock star agents are using to turn their clients into raving fans:

Networking Assistance

Your position as a real estate agent allows you to meet and interact with far more people than many traditional occupations. This makes you the perfect person to introduce all different types of people to each other.

In order to create a sense of loyalty among clients, many superstar agents are maintaining a detailed database of all of the people they interact with over the years. Then, when a specific need comes up in what seems like a typical conversation, those agents are ready and willing to recommend someone who can be helpful to the people they are speaking with. You can even go as far as actually making the introduction.

Sending potential business to a previous client is a great way to make sure that they will call you the next time they need a Realtor. It also keeps you fresh in their minds for the next time they have the opportunity to recommend a real estate agent.

Everyone Loves Pizza

It might seem trivial to you, but showing up on moving day with a couple of large pizzas is the type of thing that a friend does. Your clients won’t expect it from a real estate agent, which will likely cause them to tell everyone they know about your kind gesture.

This is a word-of-mouth business, and for the cost of a few pizzas (which is peanuts compared to a commission), you can assure yourself plenty of positive recommendations. You can also get bonus points here for carrying a moving box or two!

Hiring a Cleaning Crew

One way that you can make a great impression on your clients early in the listing process is to hire a cleaning crew. Having a professional crew clean the house from top to bottom is one of the most expensive ideas on this list, but you will usually be able to recover your investment in the long run through higher sales prices and more word-of-mouth recommendations.

This also works great for impressing your buyers. Having their home professionally cleaned right before they move in will make you a star in their eyes.

Remember Birthdays

The logic behind this one is pretty simple. If one of your previous clients sees that you remembered them on their birthday, they are going to be a whole lot more likely to remember you the next time they need a real estate agent.

The trick here is to automate the process so that you don’t have to worry about remembering all of those client birthdays on your own. Put together a client database that keeps track of them for you and order your birthday cards in bulk. Then schedule an hour each week to sign and address the cards you need to send out the following week.

Local Art

Another great way to go above and beyond for your buyer clients is to hire a local artist to make a sketch drawing or painting of their new home to put on display in the home.

There are local artists in every community that will do these types of projects quickly, for relatively low cost just to get their name out in the community.

The things that stick with clients are not necessarily the things you would expect. Little details that show your appreciation and genuine interest in the client’s happiness can go a long way towards creating raving fans, which in turn leads to more clients.
